Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M. Present,-President Hart, Councillors Scatamacchia, Ryan, Macek, Daly O’Brien, Hall, McGonagle, Donahue and Quimby. Records of the last meeting were approved. Councillor Donahue was appointed to read the records
for the present week. Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the
appointment of Stephen Preble to the Haverhill Historical
Commission as an alternate non-voting member. Said appointment Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the
appointment of Richard C Raiche to the Haverhill Historical
Commission. Said appointment effective March 18 2008 to expire Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the
appointment of Alan Ratte to the Haverhill Stadium Commission.
Said appointment effective March 11 2008 to expire March 12 2011. Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the
appointment of Richard V Scali to the Haverhill Central Business
District Parking Commission. Said appointment effective
March 10 2008 to expire March 18 2011. Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the
appointment of Colin LePage to the Haverhill Recycling
Committee. Said appointment effective March 25 2008 to
expire March 18 2009. Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the
appointment of Brent Baeslack to the Haverhill Conservation
Committee. Said appointment effective March 25 2008 to

behalf of Comcast submitting for review a 10-yr proposal
to renew the cable TV license for Haverhill. Petition was received from W Warren Gerety on behalf of
Haverhill Downtown Association announcing Laurie Chase
Kidsfest held on Sunday, May 4th 11 am – 5 pm in downtown COMMUNICATIONS Communication was received from Councillor Macek
requesting a discussion regarding acceptance of City
of ornamental/non-standard lighting poles, lift station
and or pump stations. Communication was received from Councillor Hall
requesting a discussion regarding public safety issues
at Westford st and Fairfield st. Communication was received from Councillor Donahue
requesting a discussion regarding safety concerns at the
intersections of Main st and 19th Avenue and Oxford st. Communication was received from Councillor Hall
requesting a discussion regarding amending Municipal
Ordinance Doc 39E/85 Lewis st from Winter st to Charles st
east side, no parking, to reflect No Parking “8 am
to 6 pm, Monday thru Friday”. Communication was received from Councillor Donahue
requesting a discussion regarding a water efficiency
program for the City. HEARINGS Hearing was held on Document 111-B, a petition from the
City of Haverhill relating to Zoning – Amend Zoning Code
