Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M. Present,-President Hart, Councillors Scatamacchia, Ryan, Macek, Daly O’Brien, Hall, McGonagle, Donahue and Quimby. Records of the last meeting were approved. Councillor Hall was appointed to read the records
for the present week. PETITIONS Application was received for a 2008 Drainlayer license
from Donald Kohl. Applications were received for a Special License to sell alcoholic beverages were received from:
PASSED Yeas 9, Nays 0 Petition was received from Gerald Pittorino/Pitt
Pipeline requesting to open 152 Lafayette sq to complete work. ORDERED: That the City Council grant Pitt Pipeline open 152 Lafayette sq to install fire, water & drainage systems.

Community Development Director requesting to submit the
2008-2009 Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG)
and Resolution. RESOLUTION – Authorizing Mayor to submit amended
consolidated plan for Community Development Block Grant

requesting to introduce John McCarthy to request that Saturday,
April 26th be recognized as Rebuilding Together Greater Haverhill
Inc Day and also that all fees but not inspections be waived. Communication was received from Councillor Donahue
requesting to have New England Rain Barrel give a presentation
on water conservation. Communication was received from Councillor Macek

requesting a discussion regarding Parking Ordinance Doc 29-E/85. Document 55 MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE CHAPTER An Ordinance Relating To Senior Citizen Tax Incentive Program On motion of Councillor Daly O’Brien to amend as follows: “be deleting from the last paragraph “the current minimum
wage rate x 95.” and by inserting in place thereof the
words “the maximum prescribed by MCL Ch 59, Section 5K.”,
