May 13, 2008 Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M. Present,-President Hart, Councillors Scatamacchia, Daly O’Brien, Hall, McGonagle, Donahue and Quimby. Absent,-Councillors Ryan and Macek Records of the last meeting were approved. Councillor Quimby was appointed to read the records
for the present week. Communication was received from Mayor Fiorentini requesting
to address the Council regarding the proposed Budget for FY 2009. ORDERED: To amend Doc 60/81, Doc 209/89, Doc 50/95 & Doc 55/03
to Increase Fees for Amended Vitals, Tag Days, Taxis,
Ambulances, Chair Cars, Auctioneers & Raffles/Bazaars

to expire May 8, 2009. Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the
appointment of Kathleen Rice to the WASHINGTON STREET HISTORIC
DISTRICT COMMISSION. Said appointment effective May 13 2008
to expire May 12 2011. PETITIONS Application for a Hawker/Peddler license was received
from Trina Owens to sell hotdogs, soda, water, Gatorade, On motion of Councillor Scatamacchia to delete

Reconsideration was received from Councillor Quimby
of Document 26-I/08, an Order to transfer $7,500 for Street
Sweeping. Document 26-I ORDERED: That the sum of $7,500 be transferred from the Reserve
for Capital Projects to Highway Dept Budget, Street Sweeping COMMUNICATIONS Communication was received from Councillor Hall requesting
to introduce Michael Paradis from the Haverhill Lodge of Elks to
address the Council. Communication was received from Councillor Donahue
