Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M. Present,-President Hart, Councillors Scatamacchia, Ryan, Macek, Daly O’Brien, Hall, McGonagle, Donahue and Quimby. Records of the last meeting were approved. Councillor Hall was appointed to read the records
for the present week. PETITIONS
PLACED ON FILE and REFERRED to PLANNING Yeas 9, Nays 0 Abatement report was received from the Board of Assessors
for the month of May. On motion of Councillor Ryan to suspend the rules to
introduce a petition from Sandra Webber for the following Sandra Webber 1073 Main st Fortune Teller
SUSPENSION PASSED Yeas 9, Nays 0, and On motion of Councillor Scatamacchia to suspend the rules
to introduce a request for an extension for a sewer line COMMUNICATIONS Communication was received from Councillor Ryan requesting
a discussion regarding the feasibility of hiring civilian
dispatchers at the Haverhill Police Department. Communication was received from Councillor Hall
requesting a street light in front of Whittier’s birthplace on Communication was received from Councillor Macek requesting
to discuss cellular towers in the City and our current Cellular
Ordinance and to introduce Dianne Gobeil. Communication was received from Councillor McGonagle
requesting to discuss “Clean Energy Choice Community Solar
Challenge Program”. HEARINGS Hearing was held on Document 50, a petition from Attorney
Philip Parry for Rolling Meadows Subdivision to accept Rolling
Meadows Lane as a Public Way. With Frederick Skaffa appearing in
favor and no one in opposition, the hearing was closed. Hearing was held on Document 61, to amend City Zoning Code
for uses in the CC Zone(commercial central) downtown Haverhill.
With William Pillsbury appearing in favor and no one in opposition
the hearing was closed. Hearing was announced for Document 88/07, a petition
from Stephen Stapinski for D & D Realty Trust requesting
a Special Permit – Watershed Protection District for
Roadway Improvements – Brandy Brow rd. Hearing was announced for Document 88-B/07, a petition
