October 27, 2009 Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M. Present,-President Hart, Councillors Scatamacchia, Ryan, Macek, Daly O’Brien, Hall, McGonagle, Donahue and Quimby. Councillor Hall was appointed to read the records for the
present week. PETITIONS Application was received for special license to sell alcoholic beverages from Stacey C Crowley atWinnekenni Castle, November 14, 4 pm–11 pm. COMMUNICATIONS Communication was received from Councillor McGonagle requesting to introduce representatives from Team Haverhill to update Council on the recycling pilot program. - PLACED ON FILE 96-K Communication was received from Councillor Macek requesting a discussion regarding a request by Community Action for a bus zone at the Fox Center, 75 Elm st. - PLACED ON FILE & REFERRED TO TRAFFIC & SAFETY COM. Yeas 9, Nays 0 96-L Communication was received from Councillor Macek requesting to discuss proposed signage at City Hall by the HTM(Haverhill Teachers Municipal) Credit Union.
