Mayor Fiorentini displays the Artwork of Robert J. Gablosky For the Month of November

Mayor James J. Fiorentini announced today that local artist Robert J. Gablosky will display his artwork at the Mayor’s office in City Hall for the month of November.

Mr. Gablosky, a Haverhill High School graduate, served in the Navy for four years and worked for the Haverhill Gazette as a reporter for 28 years. Mr. Gablosky completed three years of courses at Fitchburg State College and earned his Massachusetts State certification for teaching in the subjects of commercial and academic art.

In 1972 Mr. Gablosky was the Founder of the Greater Haverhill Arts Association an organization that has grown to nearly 200 members today. He was also co-founder of the Haverhill Arts Commission. Mayor Fiorentini said:

“It is an honor to have Mr. Gablowski’s artwork hanging on our walls at the Mayor’s Office. I encourage the public to stop by and enjoy his work.”
