Mayor Commends "A Generous City" Over $6,000 Donated to Fire Victims Fund


Mayor James J. Fiorentini today thanked "a generous city filled with the Christmas spirit" where over $6,000 was donated to the Emerson Street Fire Victims fund. The fund was established by the Mayor after a fire on December 7 left over 30 families homeless, many without any clothing, food, shelter or furniture.

"Our citizens really stepped up to the plate and helped" the Mayor said.
