Mayor Fiorentini Declares Snow Emergency for 7 am Thursday

Mayor James J. Fiorentini has declared a snow emergency effective Thursday, March 16, at 7 am.  As with this year’s other storms, Fiorentini has established two 24-hour snow emergency telephone hotlines and an online snow-plowing request form where citizens can request to have their streets sanded or plowed.  Fiorentini said:

 “We weren’t expecting a storm this late in the year, but the Highway Department crews are prepared to handle whatever weather conditions arise. But, if citizens need to report streets that need plowing and snow plowing problems, they can call us 24 hour a day. Our crews will get to them as quickly as possible.”

Even side of the street parking will be in effect.
