Mayor James J. Fiorentini Commemorates
Polish Constitution Day

On Friday, May 2nd, Mayor James J. Fiorentini commemorated Polish Constitution Day with a flag raising ceremony and an official proclamation of May 3rd as Polish Constitution Day.  Mayor Fiorentini stated:

“The City of Haverhill is proud to celebrate Polish Constitution Day. We are a city of diversity and culture and it is important that we continue to honor these historical events.  The Polish immigrants have contributed greatly over the years to Haverhill’s progress and growth and their spirit of democracy is an honor to these proud people and their descendants.”

On Friday, May 2nd, the Mayor was joined in his office by several of Haverhill’s Polish citizens, where the Mayor read and presented the proclamation to those who attended.
