BOSTON MAGAZINE LISTS HAVERHILL AMONG ITS  
“BEST PLACES TO LIVE”

The latest edition of Boston Magazine lists Haverhill as one of the “Best Places to Live” in Massachusetts. 

In the article, Boston Magazine lists Haverhill as “the Gamble: Haverhill.”  The magazine touts Haverhill as having the assets and backing to be a real turnaround story.  Boston Magazine cites Haverhill’s picturesque architecture, up and coming restaurant scene and the $100M in new development now taking place in downtown Haverhill.

In a press release, Mayor Fiorentini thanked the editors of Boston Magazine for recognizing Haverhill’s charm:

“Boston Magazine has become the latest in a series of magazines and articles to recognize Haverhill’s charm. 

“Boston Magazine has recognized what many of us already knew, that Haverhill is a great place to live, a great place to work and a great place to dine.”

Fiorentini said that the article would help boost property values in Haverhill and, help attract new businesses and new customers to downtown:

“This article recognizes what all of us already knew:  Haverhill is a great city.  We intend to use this article to help market our city to new businesses and we urge existing businesses to use it to attract new customers.”
