Mayor has visit from Summer Camp Students of Chang's Taekwondo America

Mayor James J. Fiorentini yesterday had a visit from students of Chang's Taekwondo America.  About 18 students who are participating in their summer camp were brought to see the Mayor by Master Young Soo Change and Instructor Michael MacDonald.

The Mayor spoke with the students about being Mayor of Haverhill and spoke about famous American mayors in history such as Ed Koch, Frank Hague and Tom Menino.  The children asked questions and learned more about civic responsibilities and public service.

Mayor Fiorentini stated:

“My office is always open and I look forward to any opportunity to share my enthusiasm and passion for public office, especially with children. Inspiring young people to understand and appreciate government is a wonderful challenge and spending time with these interested students was a pleasure for me.”
