Mayor Fiorentini Names Molly Balentine as July Artist of the Month
Youngest Artist of the Month to date has works on display in Mayor’s Office

Mayor James J. Fiorentini today named Molly Balentine as July Artist of the Month.  Molly is going into the fourth grade and has been studying art for over a year with Susan Kneeland.

Molly enjoys creating pictures with birds and landscapes and most enjoys working in pastels.   

Mayor Fiorentini stated:

“This month we have the youngest artist of the month yet with Molly Balentine, age 9.  Her work is beautiful and another example of the deep pool of talent Haverhill has in the creative arts.  I encourage everyone to stop in and see Molly’s work – she’s an inspiration for all aspiring artists, young and old.”

The Haverhill Artist of Month was created by Mayor Fiorentini to foster and profile Haverhill’s thriving art community. Haverhill artists interested in being considered for Artist of the Month can submit copies of their work and artist’s statement to the Mayor’s Office.
