Mayor Fiorentini Names Jaclyn Solimine as June Artist of the Month

Haverhill Student’s Work on Display at Mayor’s Office
Mayor James J. Fiorentini today named Jaclyn Solimine as June Artist of the Month.  Jaclyn is finishing the 8th Grade at Consentino Middle School and has five art pieces hanging in the Mayor’s office this month.. 

She has been studying art for two years with Susan Kneeland and enjoys pastels, pencils and watercolors, creating beautiful landscapes and still life pictures.   Mayor Fiorentini stated:

“I am proud to showcase the amazing talent of our young artists.  Jaclyn’s work is beautiful and I am once again impressed by the great reassure we have in Haverhill with these young artists.  This is a great opportunity for me to encourage our student artists and provide a place to show their work.”

The Haverhill Artist of Month was created by Mayor Fiorentini to foster and profile Haverhill’s thriving art community. Haverhill artists interested in being considered for Artist of the Month can submit copies of their work and artist’s statement to the Mayor’s Office.
