Mayor presents Beautification award to walnut Square school PTO

Mayor James J. Fiorentini today presented the Mayor’s Beautification Award to the Walnut Square School PTO for their hard work and dedicated efforts in improving the school grounds at the Walnut Square School.

Today, the Walnut Square PTO planned its cleanup day and did plantings as well as general cleaning. The Mayor stated:

“The Walnut Square PTO is to be commended for their continuing efforts to make the Walnut Square Elementary School an attractive and enjoyable place for their children to attend. With everyone working together, amazing projects get done.I thank all who participated, and especially those parents who made this great event happen!”
