Mayor James J. Fiorentini > Press Release September 18, 2009 Growing Manufacturer, Jobs Moving to Haverhill HAVERHILL- Lauding the addition of new manufacturing jobs, Mayor James J. Fiorentini today announced that Lightspeed Manufacturing is relocating to Haverhill. Lightspeed Manufacturing is a high-quality contract manufacturer specializing in electronics. Lightspeed manufactures and repairs printed circuit board assemblies, serving the aerospace, military/defense, automotive, commercial and telecommunication markets. Lightspeed will bring 14 new jobs to Haverhill with expansion plans to double its workforce over the next 18 months. The company is expected to start moving to its new facility in the ‘Dynawave Building’ in the Ward Hill Industrial Park in early October and complete the move by November 1. Previously, the company has been in Methuen.
Lightspeed was founded in 2003 by members of the former NETCO Automation in Haverhill, a company that was known for its expertise in BGA services and prototype development.
