Please be advised that Mayor Fiorentini will be meeting with Department of Public Works Director Mike Stankovich and Merrimack Valley Planning Commission Executive Director Dennis DiZoglio to witness the new sidewalk inventory process being conducted along all of the streets in Haverhill's Community Development Block Grant neighborhoods.  The Mayor will be checking on the condition of sidewalks on Garfield Street in Haverhill at 1PM on Tuesday, August 18. 

This is a new computerized process that categorizes the condition of streets, trees and signage in many of Haverhill's inner city neighborhoods.  These records are then compiled into a Master List for prioritization for sidewalk and streetscape repairs using CDBG and other funds.  This is part of the Mayor's plan to bring technology to government and public works.
