Academy Award Recipient to Receive Key to the City of Haverhill

Michael Williams, of Scout Productions of Boston and recent Academy Award recipient for his role as producer of the documentary “Fog of War,” will return to his hometown of Haverhill, Massachusetts next Thursday to receive a key to the City of Haverhill from Mayor James J. Fiorentini. The presentation, scheduled for Thursday morning March 25th at 11:00 a.m., will be held on the steps of City Hall in Haverhill at Four Summer Street and the Mayor has invited all Haverhill citizens to attend.

In a proclamation presented to the Haverhill City Council, Mayor Fiorentini named March 25th as “Academy
Award Winner Michael Williams Day” in the City of Haverhill and urged all citizens to “strive to emulate the
successes of this model citizen of Haverhill.” A key will be presented to Mr. Williams, the proclamation
states, so that “Mr. Williams may forever return home when he chooses.”

“This is an exciting day for the citizens of Haverhill,” Mayor Fiorentini commented. “We are pleased to bring a
touch of Hollywood to Haverhill and we are extremely proud of Mr. Williams.”
