Haverhill Public Library Offers Free WiFi Access
Mayor James J. Fiorentini and library director Nancy Rea today announced that the effective immediately the Haverhill Public library will offer free WiFi access to library patrons.
WiFi, which stands for “wireless fidelity” is a means of accessing the internet without cables, telephone lines or wires. Free Wifi access means that patron with a laptop computer that has a wireless card can go to the library with the laptop and access the internet at any time.
The Haverhill Public Library, always on the cutting edge of good service, today becomes one of the first libraries in the State to offer free Wifi access to its patrons. This free service allows students to bring in a laptop and even if the library computers are busy, access the internet while doing their research.”
